Job summary

Vizient is seeking an accomplished executive to own and lead the Master Data Management (MDM) strategy for the enterprise. This role partners with Data & Digital, Spend Management, Consulting, and shared services to drive value from trusted data assets across products, operations and client solutions.

The candidate will shape the MDM roadmap, establish data standards and stewardship, and influence cross-functional teams to achieve measurable outcomes in financial performance and operational

Qualifications

• Fifteen (15) or more years of progressive executive leadership in data management, data strategy or related fields.
• Experience leading enterprise data platforms and cross-functional transformation.
• Ability to align business, technology, governance and operations around shared objectives and measurable outcomes.
• Proven track record partnering with engineering to deliver scalable platforms and drive adoption.
• Exceptional communication and organizational leadership to build high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Vizient's long-term MDM strategy and roadmap.
• Set investment priorities and define measurable outcomes for enterprise data assets.
• Serve as executive advisor on information strategy and organizational maturity.
• Design and evolve the MDM operating model with clear ownership and stewardship.
• Establish authoritative data domains and enterprise standards for consistency and scalability.
• Lead strategic partnerships to align data priorities with business strategy.
• Collaborate with Platform PM and Engineering to support integrated solutions and commercialization.
• Promote interoperability and data quality across products and analytics.
