Job summary

Petra Funds Group seeks a Vice President of Investment Operations & Data Management to lead our enterprise data strategy, analytics, and governance. You will partner with Investment, Investor Relations, Finance, Operations, Compliance, and Technology to build a modern data ecosystem supporting investment decision-making and growth.

The role requires deep technical acumen and business sense within asset management, overseeing data governance, data engineering, and BI initiatives, and delivering

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 10+ years in data engineering/analytics/BI/enterprise data management.
• 5+ years leading technical teams and data initiatives.
• Experience in asset management or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of investment data and reporting.
• Cloud experience (Azure/AWS/Google Cloud).
• SQL and modern data warehouse expertise.
• ETL/ELT and data pipelines.
• BI platforms: Power BI/Tableau/Looker.
• Strong PM and stakeholder management.
• Excellent communication and executive presentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the firm's data and analytics strategy.
• Establish scalable data architecture for investment and reporting.
• Lead data engineers, analytics pros, and BI developers.
• Partner with executives to prioritize data initiatives.
• Oversee data platforms, pipelines, and governance.
• Integrate data across portfolio systems and CRM.
• Ensure data quality, security, and accessibility.
• Develop executive dashboards and KPI reporting.
• Translate business needs into scalable tech solutions.
• Lead data transformation initiatives from planning to execution.
