Job summary

Common Sense Media in San Francisco is seeking a Senior Director of Engineering to define a multi-year vision and guide a scalable engineering organization aligned with product strategy. You will influence architecture, standards, and the adoption of AI across products.

You will lead Engineering Managers across Families and Education, partnering with product and data leaders to ensure delivery velocity, quality, and security at scale.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field; equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 15 years engineering experience, including at least 5 years leading other engineering managers.
  • Proven track record of leading engineering orgs at scale across multiple product areas.

Responsibilities

  • Define and steward a multi-year engineering vision and roadmap aligned with product strategy.
  • Lead and develop engineering managers and the Principal Architect.
  • Partner with Product Growth & Engineering to translate strategies into delivery.
