Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC seeks a Vice President of Engineering - Authentication to lead a large, globally distributed engineering org for the Auth0 Product Unit. You will report to the Auth0 Product Unit SVP of Engineering.

This technical leadership role directs secure, scalable login experiences, owning core engines, developer tools, and AI-agent frameworks, as the team scales for enterprise use cases.

Qualifications

• 8+ years leading SaaS product engineering teams.
• 12+ years in full-stack software development (front-end, back-end, data).
• 3+ years running or using large-scale cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure).
• Background in authentication, authorization or security.

Responsibilities

• Scale the engineering organization with managers and directors.
• Mentor and coach distributed engineering teams.
• Collaborate with Product & Design to build next-gen identity products.
• Drive operational excellence and scalable processes during growth.
• Maintain security, performance and availability SLAs for billions of authentications.
• Lead teams delivering features against aggressive deadlines and measure outcomes.
• Redefine Developer Experience for the AI era with scalable identity infrastructure.
• Monitor team structure and investment, recommending optimizations.
• Partner with PM and Engineering leadership in roadmap planning.
