Job summary

The Asia Group, based in Washington, DC, is seeking a Vice President to join its energy team. The VP will lead project management, develop client-ready memos and presentations, and help grow business with a focus on Indo-Pacific markets.

Ideal candidates hold an advanced degree with 10+ years of relevant experience, strong communication skills, and a capability to leverage AI tools to improve analysis and deliverables. This is an in-person, five-days-a-week role in the TAG Washington, DC office.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree (e.g. MA/MBA/MPP) with 10+ years of relevant experience; client servicing and/or government networks preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities demonstrated in multinational settings.
• Proficiency with AI tools to enhance efficiency and deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Support energy practice partner in servicing global clients through project management and execution of high-value deliverables.
• Develop executive memos, slides, briefing materials for clients and internal audiences, often with tight turnaround times.
• Proactively manage client accounts and participate in regular engagements and workshops with partners and senior staff.
• Contribute to business development through proposals, outreach, and stakeholder relationship management in DC and Asia.
• Represent TAG at conferences and industry-government events, contributing to thought leadership.
• Maintain a robust network of stakeholders in Washington, DC and Asia.
