Job summary

PIMCO in New York is seeking a VP, Employee Benefits for the Americas to lead the execution, delivery, and ongoing optimization of health, welfare, retirement, and wellbeing programs across the Americas.

This hands-on leadership role partners with the SVP, Employee Benefits, Americas, guiding design decisions, vendor relationships, compliance with ERISA and ACA, and data-driven improvements to enhance employee experience and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of leadership experience in health and welfare benefits.
• Deep knowledge of U.S. benefits and regulatory requirements.
• Experience engaging senior leadership.
• Proven vendor management and cost-control capabilities.
• Ability to translate data into actionable guidance.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute enterprise benefits strategy across health, welfare, retirement, leave and wellbeing.
• Provide hands-on support for day-to-day operations with accuracy and compliance.
• Advise senior leadership on benefits design, cost management, and risk.
• Manage complex vendor relationships across medical, pharmacy, dental, life, and more.
• Lead annual enrolment renewals and multi-year financial planning.
• Support global benefits with cross-functional partners and data insights.
