Job summary

kW Mission Critical Engineering, a WSP company, seeks a Vice President Electrical Engineer to lead design of complex electrical systems for data centers. You will manage projects, mentor engineers, and coordinate with vendors to deliver high-performance building services.

Ideal candidates have 12+ years of experience, a PE, strong communication, and extensive Revit BIM experience for multi-discipline projects. Travel to sites and client meetings will be required.

Responsibilities

• Design complex power and other building systems including generator plants, MV distribution, UPS, lighting, fire alarm, grounding.
• Lead projects and a team of electrical engineers to deliver high-quality outcomes.
• Produce high-quality technical and professional deliverables for projects and proposals.
• Coordinate multi-discipline project teams and develop drawings/specifications for issuance.
• Present complex technical solutions to clients and lead client meetings.
• Manage project budgets and write proposals; supervise construction administration.
• Develop and maintain client relationships and mentor junior staff.
