Job summary

kW Mission Critical Engineering, a WSP company, is seeking an Assistant Vice President for Electrical Engineering in Tempe, AZ. You will design complex power and building systems and lead a team of electrical engineers on mission-critical projects.

Ideal candidates have a PE license, 10+ years of experience, and strong client leadership. Familiarity with Revit is preferred, and collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering with electrical building systems emphasis.
• 10+ years designing electrical systems for high-performing, commercial, industrial or mission-critical/data center buildings.
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Experience mentoring and training others in the field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to interact well with others and contribute to high-quality deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality technical deliverables for projects and proposals.
• Lead the development of initial electrical system concepts and designs.
• Present complex electrical solutions to clients and lead project teams.
• Coordinate multi-discipline project teams and timelines.
• Manage budgets, proposals, and client interactions.
