Job summary

PROENERGY is seeking a Division Controller - Operations in Houston, TX to lead financial management for direct and indirect operations, partnering with business leaders on budgeting, forecasting, cost management, and internal controls. The role reports to the Chief Accounting Officer and will drive close processes, cost savings, and KPI-backed insights.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in heavy manufacturing finance, a Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance, fluent English, and GAAP/SOX knowledge; US

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• 7+ years of experience in financial management in heavy manufacturing.
• Fluent in English with strong speaking, reading, and writing skills.
• U.S. work authorization; sponsorship not offered.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for business close processes and accounting and reporting of operating results.
• Collaborate with Operations Team and Managers to drive productivity and cost savings.
• Contract accounting including Percentage Completion, Revenue Recognition, and Billing.
• Understand manufacturing processes, BOMs and Routers.
• Review and approve capital planning and expenditures.
• Oversee inventory transactions and reporting accuracy.
• Manage J/E’s, reconciliations, and management reports.
• Develop a robust management operating system with KPI feedback.
• Support external audit with timely and accurate information.
• Ensure financial controls and data integrity; support budget/forecast efforts.
