Job summary

Evercore seeks an experienced Vice President to join the Diversified Industrials team in New York, NY. The VP will lead day-to-day execution of complex M&A and capital advisory transactions, working closely with senior bankers on live deals and managing client relationships.

You will mentor Associates and Analysts, oversee due diligence and coordination with law firms and data rooms, and contribute to strategy discussions with senior management and boards.

Qualifications

• Strong background in investment banking or advisory work.
• Experience leading complex M&A or capital advisory engagements.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and junior team members under tight timelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day execution of complex M&A and capital advisory transactions.
• Drive preparation of client materials including models, teasers, and management presentations.
• Oversee due diligence and coordinate with law firms, data rooms, and counterparties.
• Engage in strategic dialogue with executives to advise on capital structure and growth strategies.
• Support business development through idea generation and client outreach.
• Perform industry and company research to support live deals and pitches.
• Mentor Associates and Analysts to ensure rigorous analysis and high-quality execution.
