Job summary

Futura Search Partners is seeking a senior investment professional to lead transactions on the digital infrastructure credit team, from origination through close, and to take a lead role in structuring and negotiation.

You will originate and execute investments across the digital infrastructure ecosystem, lead structuring of facilities and equity solutions, own underwriting, run deal teams, and mentor junior staff as the platform scales.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years in private credit, infrastructure debt, digital infrastructure investing, leveraged finance or structured finance.
• Deals personally structured and negotiated, with a track record of closing.
• Sector knowledge across data centers, fiber or wireless, and an understanding of the contracts and counterparties that underpin the credit.
• Documentation fluency: covenants, security packages, intercreditor arrangements and completion support.
• Credibility with borrowers and sponsors, and the judgement to know which deals are worth pursuing.

Responsibilities

• Originate and execute private credit and structured equity investments across the digital infrastructure ecosystem.
• Lead structuring and negotiation of credit facilities, structured equity and bespoke financing solutions, working directly with borrowers, sponsors and counsel.
• Own the underwriting: credit analysis, modelling, downside scenarios and the investment thesis.
• Run deal teams and diligence workstreams, and take transactions through Investment Committee.
• Build and maintain relationships with sponsors, developers, operators, intermediaries and co-lenders to drive proprietary deal flow.
• Oversee portfolio positions post-close, including amendments, restructurings and incremental financings.
• Mentor associates and contribute to the development of the platform as it scales.

Futura Search Partners is working on this search with a global alternative asset manager investing across private equity, credit, infrastructure and real estate, with particular depth in the middle market. Its digital infrastructure platform provides credit and structured equity across data centers, fiber, wireless and connectivity assets, combining capital, structuring expertise and the execution speed the sector demands.

The role
