Job summary

The Crown Advisors is seeking a Vice President of Development based in Florida to lead development, construction, and property management for the region. You will oversee land acquisition, feasibility, entitlements, financing, development, construction, asset management, and disposition of projects.

You will build and manage a high-performing team, partner with brokers and capital sources, and ensure projects meet schedule, budget, and regulatory standards across multiple markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required; graduate degree preferred.
• Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in managing teams.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in multi-family real estate.
• Land acquisition experience is essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all development, construction, and property management functions for the Florida region.
• Identifies, pursues, and negotiates potential land development opportunities.
• Cultivate relationships with landowners, brokers, and financial sources.
• Monitors development and construction processes to ensure projects are completed as scheduled.
• Conducts site investigations, financial feasibility, project budgeting, and meetings.
• Works with internal capital markets team in underwriting and financing deals.
• Manages division cash requirements and expenditures, project budgets, and schedules.
• Performs asset management functions to maximize property value.
