Job summary

Illumination Health + Home is seeking a strategic Vice President of Development to lead fundraising across major gifts, individual giving, corporate and foundation relationships, events, and campaigns. You will build and guide a high-performing team, personally cultivate and solicit high-capacity donors, and partner with the CEO and Board to expand the donor base and multi-year partnerships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 8–10+ years of nonprofit fundraising experience, including leading development functions.
• Proven success securing major gifts, ideally at five, six, and seven-figure levels.
• Experience across major gifts, individual giving, corporate and foundation relations, events, stewardship, and campaigns.
• Proven ability to build fundraising strategies that produce measurable revenue growth.
• Skilled at partnering with CEOs, Boards, major donors, and community leaders.
• Experience with CRM systems, pipeline development, forecasting, and metrics-driven management.
• Strong financial acumen and excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a three-year comprehensive fundraising strategy with clear revenue targets.
• Maintain a robust fundraising pipeline to support major gift goals and diversified revenue.
• Lead or participate in high-value solicitations and donor stewardship programs.
• Cultivate relationships with corporations, foundations, and institutional partners.
• Partner with the CEO and Board to maximize fundraising impact and donor networks.
• Design donor stewardship and campaign readiness; drive upgrades and multi-year giving.
• Oversee CRM usage, dashboards, and monthly/quarterly forecasting with Finance.
