Job summary

Goldman Sachs is seeking a Product Manager to drive developer-focused products within the Developer Experience and Runtime group. You will own customer strategies, drive roadmaps, and coordinate with design and engineering to deliver high-impact, scalable solutions for cloud-native platforms.

Ideal candidates have 7 years of PM experience in technical products, strong Agile, and proven ability to influence cross-functional teams while delivering measurable business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 7 years of previous work experience as a Product Manager, preferably in a technical product management role.
• Demonstrated success collaborating with design and engineering peers to lead a product development team.
• Comfortable with Agile processes, with an emphasis on creating backlogs that support the product roadmap.
• Proven ability to influence and/or lead a cross-functional team without direct authority.
• Ability to translate customer needs into a product roadmap.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate complex problems and roadmaps to stakeholders.
• Ability to engage with and influence stakeholders outside their direct control.

Responsibilities

• Lead Product Definition – Own and drive the customer working backwards strategy, tenets, long-term goals and working backwards documents.
• Define Product Roadmap – Including all aspects to future roadmap, investment, innovation, and experimentation.
• Execution of Product Planning and Development – Include customer goals and business requirements for product release.
• Lead Product Launch – Lead GTM delivery ensuring goals are met in operational launch plans.
• Lead Operations – Monitoring and response to customer feedback and continuous improvement.
• Lead interaction with Technical Team – Help the team make tradeoffs based on customer requirements and QA.
