Job summary

Greenhill, a part of Mizuho Americas, seeks an experienced Investment Banking Vice President for the M&A team in New York. The role centers on design, origination, structuring, and execution of buy‑side and sell‑side mandates, with a focus on delivering high‑quality client materials and deal execution.

The VP will analyze markets, build financial models, and contribute to client presentations while cultivating relationships across groups.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with at least 6 years in investment banking or an MBA with VP level.
Strong knowledge of corporate finance, securities, financial markets and risk analysis.
Proven M&A deal experience and ability to manage multiple projects.
Ability to work under pressure and maintain confidentiality.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

Conduct extensive quantitative research and analysis on markets and companies.
Draft and prepare pitch books with detailed industry materials.
Model a broad range of corporate finance alternatives and conduct due diligence for transactions.
Perform financial modeling and valuation including DCF, comps, and LBO analyses.
Prepare client presentations and materials with attention to quality and timeliness.
Support in evaluation, due diligence, and execution of M&A transactions.
