Job summary

Greenhill, a part of Mizuho Americas, seeks an experienced Investment Banking Vice President for the M&A team in New York. The role centers on design, origination, structuring, and execution of buy‑side and sell‑side mandates, with a focus on delivering high‑quality client materials and deal execution.

The VP will analyze markets, build financial models, and contribute to client presentations while cultivating relationships across groups.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 6 years in investment banking or an MBA with VP level.
• Strong knowledge of corporate finance, securities, financial markets and risk analysis.
• Proven M&A deal experience and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain confidentiality.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct extensive quantitative research and analysis on markets and companies.
• Draft and prepare pitch books with detailed industry materials.
• Model a broad range of corporate finance alternatives and conduct due diligence for transactions.
• Perform financial modeling and valuation including DCF, comps, and LBO analyses.
• Prepare client presentations and materials with attention to quality and timeliness.
• Support in evaluation, due diligence, and execution of M&A transactions.
