Job summary

Humana seeks a visionary VP of Data Strategy & Governance to define and operationalize the enterprise data strategy, govern data assets, and enable AI-ready data across the organization. You will partner with Cybersecurity, Enterprise Architecture, and business leaders to drive data quality, policy, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of senior leadership in data governance, data management, or data strategy roles.
• 10+ years of hands-on data governance in on-premises and cloud environments.
• Proven track record building and scaling data governance programs with measurable improvements.
• Experience delivering large, multi-workstream programs on time and within budget.
• Leadership responsibility for data catalogs, lineage platforms, data marketplace, and data quality frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Establish and own the enterprise data strategy and roadmap.
• Lead governance of enterprise data programs aligned to financial and strategic objectives.
• Partner with the Chief Data & Analytics Officer to articulate data value and influence investments.
• Drive enterprise-scale data science and AI readiness with robust data infrastructure and lineage.
• Develop a data product mindset with reusable, well-documented data assets.
