Job summary

State Street Corporation seeks an experienced Senior Databricks / Snowflake Data Architect to shape the next-generation cloud-native data platform for multi-asset TCA, analytics and reporting. You will lead architecture decisions, prototype new solutions, and drive scalable production implementations with a strong DevOps mindset.

You will collaborate with quantitative researchers and product/engineering teams, establishing standards for data warehousing, lakehouse, streaming, and AI/ML workloads

Qualifications

• Experience designing enterprise-scale data platforms.
• Hands-on with Databricks (Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, Spark, Structured Streaming).
• Hands-on with Snowflake (data modelling, performance, governance).
• Expertise in Python, SQL, and modern ELT/ETL.
• Able to prototype and evaluate new technologies quickly.
• Experience building large-scale analytics platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop architecture for multi-asset TCA analytics platform.
• Lead technology evaluations, proofs-of-concept and prototyping.
• Build scalable data lakehouse solutions with Databricks, Snowflake and cloud services.
• Create high-performance data models and pipelines for real-time and batch workloads.
• Governance, security, lineage, metadata management and observability.
