Job summary

You will own end-to-end data-use case management, set standards, and partner with legal, compliance, privacy, cybersecurity, and technology to deliver measurable, scalable controls and impactful data initiatives.

Qualifications

• 10 years of financial services experience with data governance and controls.
• Experience leading small to mid-sized teams and cross-functional programs.
• Executive presence with ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end data-use case management across global business lines, including intake, classification, review, decisioning, and monitoring.
• Lead governance routines and forums to drive timely decisions and improve transparency.
• Define objectives and delivery plans for data governance initiatives, managing dependencies.
• Enhance governance processes and workflows for scalability and speed with proper controls.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to shape initiatives aligned to regulatory needs.
• Drive transformation from concept through adoption and change management.
• Translate governance topics into recommendations and updates for senior leadership.
• Coordinate cross-functional deliverables and ensure follow-through.
• Engage with legal, compliance, privacy, cybersecurity, technology, and control partners to establish guardrails.
• Maintain a centralized inventory of data use, including third-party use, for informed decisions.
• Implement standards and risk-based frameworks supporting decentralized escalation.
