Prologis seeks a VP, Data Center Construction to lead construction activities for data center delivery, including speculative and build-to-suit. You will staff projects, manage budgets, and drive innovation.

Based in the West Region, you’ll collaborate daily with data center, development, and deployment teams. The role demands extensive experience in real estate development or construction management, strong leadership, and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.

Formación

• 10+ years of experience in Real Estate - Development (data centre focused), Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management.
• Consistent track record in land development or construction management.
• Ability to travel approximately 30%.
• Experience championing a project from acquisition through due diligence, entitlements and permitting.
• Self-motivated with ability to multi-task and prioritise with minimal direction.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive in approaching solutions and problem solving.
• Promotion of the Prologis brand with a focus on efficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Coach the Prologis data centre project management team across performance, staffing and growth.
• Lead the construction process for new-build and retrofit data centre projects, ensuring alignment with standards and client requirements from concept to completion.
• Work with the data centre design team to uphold design integrity and resolve construction challenges.
• Own development portfolio performance (cost, schedule, quality, safety).
• Monitor project milestones to ensure timely delivery of deliverables.
• Mentor and lead junior colleagues with feedback and performance guidance.
• Drive ongoing innovation and initiatives.
• Lead lean construction, GC bid negotiations and design optimisation against targets.
• Develop and own relationships with General Contractors.
• Collaborate with procurement to identify cost-saving measures.
• Maintain active mentoring and strong communication with regional stakeholders.
