Job summary

Prologis is seeking a VP of Data Center Construction to lead the construction activities of data center delivery across speculative and build-to-suit projects. The role requires staffing for forecasted activity, providing cost and budget information for investment memos, and directing the entitlement process with strong technical leadership.

You will base in the West Region, interact daily with data centre, development, and deployment teams, and drive innovation and best practices in development

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Real Estate-Development (data centre focused), Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management.
• Experience in land development or construction management.
• Willingness to travel ~30%.

Responsibilities

• Lead construction process for new-build and retrofit data centre projects, from concept to completion.
• Mentor and develop a best-in-class development team and collaborate with regional partners.
• Own portfolio performance: cost, schedule, quality, safety and delivery milestones.
• Drive design optimisation, procurement interplay, and bid negotiations with contractors.
• Maintain design integrity with the data centre design team and resolve construction challenges.
