Job summary

OneOncology is seeking a VP of Data Architecture & Engineering to lead engineering strategy, data platforms, and AI-enabled initiatives. You will align engineering with business and clinical objectives, build scalable cloud-native solutions, and drive governance, security, and production excellence.

Hybrid role in Nashville with remote options for exceptional candidates. You will partner with Data, Analytics, Security, and product leaders to accelerate innovation, deliver interoperable

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field; 12+ years in software/data/engineering disciplines.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 7+ years of leadership experience with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Experience leading software, data, and cloud/platform capabilities within enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of modern software architectures, APIs, cloud, DevOps, CI/CD, and production operations.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute enterprise engineering strategy and multi-year technology roadmap.
• Lead Data Engineering, Integration Engineering, platform, and architecture functions.
• Lead Software Engineering team in AI and Data Products development.
• Develop engineering directors, managers, and leaders; strengthen succession planning.
• Translate strategic priorities into executable engineering plans and investments.
• Own engineering execution across product and platform portfolios for reliability and value.
• Establish engineering standards for architecture, software development, testing, security, and production support.
• Drive cloud-native practices including APIs, microservices, DevOps, and automated testing.
