Job summary

OneOncology is seeking a Vice President, Data Architecture & Engineering to lead the technology strategy and execution for software, data, and integrations. You will shape an engineering vision, manage the team across data, platform, and software, and partner with business leaders to drive AI-enabled capabilities and reliable, scalable solutions.

The role is hybrid in Nashville, TN, with remote candidates considered.

Qualifications

• Requires 12+ years in software, data, or related engineering roles in enterprise environments.
• 7+ years in engineering leadership with managers and leaders reporting to you.
• Healthcare technology experience and cloud modernization knowledge are strong assets.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute enterprise engineering strategy and multi-year technology roadmap.
• Lead Data Engineering, Integration Engineering, platform, and architecture across engineering.
• Oversee software engineering for AI and data products.
• Develop engineering leaders; plan succession and career paths.
• Translate business priorities into executable engineering plans and investments.
• Improve delivery, quality, scalability, reliability, and time-to-value of products.
• Establish engineering standards for architecture, testing, security, and production support.
• Drive cloud-native practices including APIs, microservices, DevOps, and CI/CD.
• Provide executive leadership for enterprise data platforms supporting analytics and AI.
• Lead interoperability across EHRs, practice management systems, and HL7/FHIR standards.
• Set KPIs for quality, reliability, and delivery performance.
• Manage engineering investments, vendor strategy, and resources while balancing cost and performance.
• Communicate strategy and risks to executives and cross-functional teams.
