Saputo, Inc. seeks a Vice President of Research & Development to set and execute the Ingredients Division’s technical strategy, translating customer needs and dairy science into scalable, profitable solutions.

You will own the portfolio across whey- and milk-based proteins, cultures, and specialty ingredients, driving end-to-end development and governance. Applicants should bring 15+ years in dairy R&D, deep dairy chemistry knowledge, and strong leadership with P&L responsibility.

Qualifications

• Fifteen or more years of progressive R&D and leadership in dairy ingredients.
• Deep knowledge of dairy-component chemistry and functionality.
• Experience defining strategy and commercializing B2B dairy ingredients.
• Executive-level financial acumen and budget leadership.

Responsabilités

• Define and execute the strategic R&D and technology roadmap for the Ingredients Division.
• Own the innovation and renovation portfolio with stage-gate governance and business cases.
• Lead end-to-end development of whey- and milk-based proteins, carbohydrates, cultures, and specialty ingredients.
• Partner with Commercial, Sales, Operations, Engineering, Quality, Regulatory, Procurement, Finance, and Supply Chain.
• Advance process technology and technical capability across labs, pilot facilities, and plants.
• Manage R&D operating and capital budgets and communicate portfolio health to leadership.
