Job summary

IntellectFaces, Inc. is seeking a Director/VP of Cybersecurity to provide strategic leadership for its security programme on a remote, contract basis.

You will assess security posture, define roadmaps, and oversee governance, policies, and best practices across the organization. The role requires deep expertise in cloud, network, application security, IAM, data protection, and incident response, with a track record of guiding executive leadership through risk and regulatory landscapes.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in senior cybersecurity leadership roles (Director, VP, or CISO).
• Proven ability to develop and execute enterprise cybersecurity strategies.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity governance, risk management, and compliance.
• Experience leading enterprise security transformation initiatives.
• Expertise across cloud security, network security, application security, identity and access management, and data protection.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for the organisation's cybersecurity programme.
• Assess the current security posture and develop a roadmap for improving cyber resilience.
• Establish and oversee enterprise security governance, policies, standards, and best practices.
• Advise executive leadership on cybersecurity risks, emerging threats, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead enterprise risk assessments and define mitigation strategies.
• Oversee security architecture, IAM, data protection, cloud security, and infrastructure security initiatives.
• Develop and mature incident response, disaster recovery, and business continuity capabilities.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulatory frameworks.
• Partner with IT, infrastructure, engineering, and business leaders to integrate security into technology and business initiatives.
• Lead security awareness and organisational security culture programmes.
• Manage relationships with external security vendors, auditors, and regulatory bodies where required.
• Mentor and guide internal security teams while establishing long-term cybersecurity capabilities.
