Job summary

Gravie seeks a Vice President of Information Security and IT to build and lead cybersecurity and corporate IT for a growing healthcare company. You will set strategy, lead HIPAA security, AI governance, and IT operations for a distributed workforce.

You will work with executives and the Board to manage risk, drive security program maturity, and enable secure product and cloud initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Significant cybersecurity leadership experience.
• Direct cybersecurity leadership in a HIPAA-regulated healthcare org.
• Experience building/improving security programs in fast-moving firms.
• Deep knowledge of cloud security, IAM, product security, incident response, vendor risk, resilience.
• Experience with AI governance and enterprise IT for distributed workforce.

Responsibilities

• Set cybersecurity and corporate IT strategies, priorities, and plans.
• Establish security policies and controls; work with ERM on risk tracking and remediation.
• Lead HIPAA Security Rule program to protect ePHI; ensure audits and readiness.
• Build threat detection, identity security, security architecture, product/cloud security, vulnerability management.
• Partner with Product/Engineering to embed security into software and cloud environments.
• Lead AI governance, tool approvals, data handling, risk assessments, monitoring.
• Oversee HITRUST, SOC 2, audits, regulatory reviews, customer security assessments.
• Communicate risks to executives/Board; represent security to customers/auditors/regulators.
