Job summary

Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) seeks a Corporate VP, Customer Engineering to lead the Customer Success function for the DCGPU organization. You will own the end-to-end customer experience for Instinct, guiding deployment, validation, and operations at scale for Tier 1 and Tier 2/3 accounts.

Lead the ASTs, drive cross-functional governance, and partner with Platform, ROCm, and Software teams to accelerate deployments and ensure technical excellence in customer outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Senior leadership experience in customer engineering, field engineering, or solutions engineering for semiconductors or AI accelerators.
  • Deep technical expertise in GPU architecture, HPC/AI workloads, large-scale data center deployment.
  • Experience engaging with hyperscalers and enterprise customers on complex multi-quarter deployments.

Responsibilities

  • Build, lead, and scale AMD's Account Success Teams for Tier 1 and Tier 2/3 Instinct accounts.
  • Own end-to-end customer readiness, validation, deployment, onboarding, and sustainment for Instinct deployments.
  • Operate within the Helios Control Tower model ensuring clear escalation paths and aligned resources.
  • Engage with customer CTOs and AI leadership to resolve escalations and communicate AMD's roadmap.
  • Collaborate with Platform Engineering, Software (ROCm), and Operations to align customer commitments and governance.
  • Drive deployment acceleration and establish dashboards to measure health metrics.
