This executive leadership opportunity is responsible for shaping the future of collections, loss mitigation, asset recovery, and portfolio preservation while delivering innovative solutions that support both member financial well-being and organizational performance. The role is aligned with strategic leadership of collections, recovery, loss mitigation, risk oversight, and transformation of the Credit Solutions function.

Reporting directly to the Chief Lending Officer, the Vice President, Credit Solutions will provide executive oversight of collection and recovery operations across consumer, mortgage, and commercial portfolios while driving enterprise-wide initiatives focused on risk management, operational excellence, technology modernization, and member advocacy.

What You'll Do

• Develop and execute enterprise strategies to reduce delinquency, minimize losses, maximize recoveries, and preserve asset quality.
• Lead all aspects of collections, bankruptcy, foreclosure, repossession, legal recovery, and post-charge-off recovery operations.
• Drive digital transformation through automation, analytics, workflow modernization, and AI-enabled member engagement solutions.
• Partner with Lending, Risk, Operations, Digital Services, and Technology teams to improve organizational effectiveness and portfolio performance.
• Establish performance standards and accountability measures for internal teams, legal partners, collection agencies, repossession vendors, and recovery providers.
• Deliver executive-level reporting, forecasting, and business insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, continuous improvement, and exceptional member service.

What We're Looking For

• Significant leadership experience in collections, recovery, credit risk, loss mitigation, lending operations, or related financial services functions.
• Proven success leading organizational transformation, process improvement, and operational excellence initiatives.
• Strong business and financial acumen with a deep understanding of portfolio performance and recovery strategies.
• Experience leveraging technology, automation, data analytics, and digital solutions to improve outcomes.
• Exceptional leadership, coaching, and change management capabilities.
• The ability to balance regulatory compliance, risk management, operational efficiency, and member advocacy.
• Outstanding communication and partnership skills with executive leaders, regulators, auditors, and external partners.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range: $152,565 to $190,707 annually, with actual compensation determined by experience, qualifications, and demonstrated expertise.

Pay Range:$152,565.75 - $190,707.19 per year
