Job summary

Chase is seeking a Vice President Controller in Credit Risk to lead allowance governance, financial reporting, and regulatory engagement. You will drive end-to-end processes and develop materials for governance forums, with cross-functional coordination across Technology, Risk, Product, and Finance.

You will own the controller workstream for building and testing a new credit card product, ensuring integration into Card Services reporting and the control framework while maintaining strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in finance, credit card, financial services, or regulatory environment.
• Strong analytical thinking to tackle ambiguous problems and deliver results.
• Strong stakeholder management in a matrixed environment with sound judgment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and documentation discipline.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end allowance governance and quarterly memo process for executive forums.
• Provide credible challenge of allowance assumptions, models, overlays, and drivers.
• Lead management and regulatory reporting for allowance with close and quarter-end deliverables.
• Represent Controllers during regulatory exams and external audits; coordinate responses.
• Drive delivery to integrate a new credit card product into reporting and controls with cross-team coordination.
