Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in New York seeks a Private Bank CRE Lending Specialist at VP/Executive Director level to lead credit origination and client advisory for commercial real estate. The role drives end-to-end CRE solutions for high net worth clients from origination to closing.

This senior position partners with Lending Advisors and coverage Bankers to execute financing opportunities, while building market insights, pricing strategies and risk controls across the US CRE portfolio.

Qualifications

• Ten+ years experience in highly-structured credit loan products.
• Expert knowledge in executing Commercial Real Estate transactions.
• Strong knowledge of financial and capital markets.
• Credit training with advanced analytical skills.
• Familiarity with CRE account maintenance, loan closings and credit administration.
• Ability to communicate credit solutions to UHNW clients and prospects.
• Sales experience including prospecting and negotiating.
• Understanding of wealth management including investments, trusts and financial planning.
• Series 7 and 66 licenses.

Responsibilities

• Drive CRE credit origination in the US lending portfolio, developing and executing the strategic vision for the product.
• Partner with U.S. Lending Advisors and coverage Bankers to identify and execute financing opportunities with clients and prospects.
• Educate team on product value proposition, basic features and client selection; share success stories and ideas to replicate winning themes.
• Develop initiatives and campaigns to drive growth.
• Develop and maintain expert knowledge of market standards, competition and pricing.
• Forge strong relationships with Credit Risk; assist in credit policy and guideline changes.
• Monitor portfolio risk and recommend policy or practice changes in connection with market conditions and regulatory compliance.
• Partner with credit underwriting to ensure resources for credit approval, financial analysis and due diligence.
