Job summary

HarbourVest Partners, a global private markets firm, seeks a Vice President, Counsel to support Evergreen fund platform and oversee fund formation, fundraising, compliance, and investor matters. • Extensive experience with private funds, registered investment companies, and evergreen fund formations.
• Deep knowledge of securities laws and regulations for registered investment advisers and funds.
• Experience drafting and negotiating fund documents and disclosures, and coordinating with external counsel.

Responsibilities

• Support product development, distribution, and governance of Wealth-focused products in the US.
• Draft and negotiate fund, disclosure, and service provider documents; manage external counsel.
• Collaborate with Legal and Compliance; assess impacts of US laws and regulations.
• Provide mentorship on new product offerings and cross-functional initiatives.
