Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Vice President to join the Corporate Structuring team in the United States. You will support senior team members and collaborate with the Corporate Derivatives Marketing and Capital Markets financing groups to design tailored hedging and financing solutions for corporate clients.

The role emphasizes applying U.S. GAAP to financing and derivatives, quantitative modelling, and cross-team collaboration with a focus on client objectives and risk management.

Qualifications

• Strong interest in global financial markets; analytical and quantitative skills; ability to work under pressure and in a collaborative environment.
• Experience evaluating economics of and accounting for financial instruments and financing transactions.
• Excellent analytical, quantitative, and interpretative skills.
• Be adaptable, flexible, and resilient.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word applications.
• High degree of ethics and integrity.
• Undergraduate degree in Finance or Accounting, and active CPA license (or CFA charter).

Responsibilities

• Support Corporate Structuring, CDM and Capital Markets professionals in transaction structuring and origination, and provide thought leadership to clients.
• Prepare customized pitch books and various analyses for client meetings.
• Assist with client updates, internal and external communication related to accounting, regulatory and industry developments.
• Develop and tailor regression / analytical models to assist with pitching of novel / bespoke transaction solutions.
• Proactively identify opportunities to engage with clients addressing specific needs or patterns in their business.
• Partner with Banking, Trading, Credit, Structuring, and other internal teams to prosecute potential transactions.
