Conexus, a global asset management firm serving institutional investors, is seeking a Vice President, Corporate Finance (FP&A) in Southern California. You will report to the Managing Director and have direct visibility with the CFO, senior leadership, and the Board.

You will forecast and analyze revenue across all business lines with emphasis on private equity, lead the annual budget process, build Board-level presentations, and support public company reporting with Accounting and IR.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of FP&A experience with supervisory responsibilities.
• Advanced Excel modeling skills and complex models design.
• Experience presenting to C-suite and Board audiences.
• CPA or CFA certification preferred.
• System implementation experience (Adaptive or similar).

Responsabilités

• Forecast and analyze revenue across all business lines, with emphasis on private equity.
• Lead the annual budget process with department heads and manage forecasts and variance analysis.
• Build Board- and executive-level presentations.
• Support public company reporting alongside Accounting and Investor Relations.
• Partner with Accounting on monthly/quarterly closes and explain variances.

The Corporate Finance team owns forecasting and financial outlook for senior management and the Board. It also shares public company reporting responsibilities with Corporate Accounting and Investor Relations.

Role Overview:

Vice President, Corporate Finance (FP&A)

Reporting to the Managing Director of Corporate Finance, you’ll be one of only two Corporate Finance leaders in SoCal. You’ll have direct visibility with the CFO, senior leadership, and the Board.

Key responsibilities:

• Forecast and analyze revenue across all business lines, with an emphasis on private equity.
• Lead the annual budget process with department heads and own forecast updates and variance analysis.
• Build Board- and executive-level presentations.
• Support public company reporting (earnings, KPIs, investor materials) alongside Accounting and IR.
• Partner with Accounting on the monthly and quarterly close and explain significant variances.
• Drive cross-functional strategic projects.

Experience Desired:

• 5+ years of progressive FP&A experience, including supervisory responsibilities
• Advanced Excel modeling skills, including designing and maintaining complex models
• A builder mindset: you’d rather create than inherit, and you’re comfortable with ambiguity
• CPA or CFA preferred
• System implementation experience (Adaptive or similar)
• Experience presenting to C-suite and Board audiences
