Job summary

Evercore is seeking a Vice President, Corporate Controller to lead Technology Investment accounting and cost oversight within the Finance team in New York. The role drives budgeting, forecasting, and monthly/quarterly closes, while supporting public reporting and strategic analyses for senior leadership.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's in accounting or finance, with CPA a plus, and 8–9+ years of relevant experience, strong analytical skills, and leadership ability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent a plus.
• 8–9+ years of progressive experience in accounting/finance within financial services.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Technology Investment accounting and cost governance; manage budgeting, forecasting, and monthly/quarterly closes.
• Lead centralized technology investment reporting and support junior team members.
• Coordinate cross‑functional financial reporting with global corporate groups and SEC filings support.
• Provide variance analysis on budget-to-actuals for non‑compensation expenses and present to senior leadership.
