Job summary

Citi is hiring a Lead Java Developer in Equity Finance, Vice President, to join the Post Trade team in Tampa. You will collaborate with traders and technologists across locations to deliver robust Java-based solutions in an agile setting.

The role requires experience in full-stack Java development, messaging systems, and a track record of delivering complex projects while aligning with Citi's architecture and risk governance.

Qualifications

• Experience in Apps Development or systems analysis in Full stack Java Development with Database and messaging platforms knowledge.
• Extensive experience in system analysis and programming of software applications.
• Experience in managing and implementing successful projects.
• Subject Matter Expert (SME) in at least one area of Applications Development.
• Ability to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate.

Responsibilities

• Resolve high impact problems by evaluating complex business and system processes.
• Provide expertise in area and ensure adherence to architecture blueprint.
• Develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation.
• Develop knowledge of how business areas integrate to achieve goals.
• Provide in-depth analysis to define issues and develop innovative solutions.
• Serve as adviser/coach to mid-level developers and analysts.
• Assess risk and ensure compliance with laws, rules and Citi policies.
