Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience in core Java application development or systems analysis.
• Experience developing front-office trading applications/systems is a must.
• Familiarity with modern infrastructure, cloud technologies, containerization Tech (Docker, OpenShift, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.
• Experience with standard developer tooling (Lightspeed, BitBucket/GitHub, Jira, Confluence, Gradle, Maven) and Linux environment.
• Exposure to AI tools and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Engage with Equities Sales and Trading desks to understand requirements and priorities.
• Resolve high-impact problems through evaluation of complex processes.
• Provide expertise in application design aligned with architecture blueprint.
• Collaborate to extend functionality and improve performance of processes.
• Adopt AI toolkits in line with modernization strategy.
• Ensure hygiene, security, and vulnerability remediation of the platform.
• Contribute to automated integration testing design and implementation.
• Mentor mid-level developers and analysts; allocate work as needed.
• Provide second-line support, including out-of-hours support.
