Job summary

Goldman Sachs is seeking a Vice President in Dallas for Core Compliance, focusing on governance and controls related to insider threats and conduct risk within the Engineering division. You will collaborate with multiple teams to enhance risk models, ensure regulatory alignment, and lead compliance testing initiatives.

The role requires a deep understanding of technology risk, strong stakeholder engagement, and the ability to adapt to evolving regulatory expectations across the Americas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; graduate degree in information security/risk management is a plus but not required.
• Strong understanding of compliance and tech risks in engineering and technology functions.
• Experience reading and interpreting jurisdictional regulations, laws and statutes.
• Experience conducting business-facing trainings and investigations related to breaches.
• Ability to interact with regulators and support regulatory audits or inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Advise on governance of the firmwide Insider Threat Program and align with regulatory expectations.
• Influence Engineering Division on governance and risk matters, focusing on Technology Risk.
• Develop and challenge engineering risk models and conduct risk measurements.
• Coordinate with control-side groups to investigate insider threat activities and report themes.
• Perform horizon scanning for applicable laws and ensure timely implementation.
