Job summary

Goldman Sachs is seeking a senior compliance professional to support the Americas Core Compliance team with a focus on the Engineering division and conduct risk. You will help govern insider threat programs, address technology risk, and coordinate regulatory responses across regional and global initiatives.

You will collaborate with multiple teams, develop risk models, and lead trainings and communications.

Qualifications

• 6-8+ years of experience in compliance or risk management
• Bachelor’s degree or higher; graduate degree in information security/risk management is a plus
• Good understanding of compliance and risks in engineering/technology functions
• Experience reading and interpreting jurisdictional regulations, laws and statutes
• Experience conducting business-facing trainings
• Experience managing conduct investigations related to breaches in firm policy or ethical standards
• Understanding of global regulatory environment related to insider threat, fraud, technology, cyber security, information governance, and AI
• Experience in insider threat, technology or conduct incident reporting, including regulatory reporting is a plus
• Experience interacting with regulators, or supporting regulatory audits or inquiries
• Intellectual curiosity about new technologies, opportunities and risks, including AI

Responsibilities

• Provide compliance support and coverage for the firm’s Engineering division focusing on governance and controls related to Conduct and Insider Threat risks
• Collaborate with multiple teams on enhancing the Engineering division’s conduct risk models
• Coordinate firmwide approaches to address insider threats and regulatory initiatives
• Advise on governance of the firmwide Insider Threat Program and industry standards
• Challenge and influence the Engineering Division on governance and risk matters
• Investigate and report risk themes; support regulatory horizon scanning
• Develop and deliver communications and training for Engineering and The Core
• Support policy and process development to ensure regulatory compliance
• Brief senior leadership on risks and secure stakeholder buy-in
• Coordinate with The Core Compliance team on initiatives and projects
