Job summary

Warner Bros. Discovery is seeking a VP, Content Strategy for WB Animation to lead licensing strategy, identify domestic and international opportunities, and cultivate platform partnerships for monetization of animated content.

You will collaborate with production, business, and legal teams, manage assets, and drive relations with networks and platforms worldwide, guiding multi‑market initiatives across Asia, Europe and the Americas.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in animation licensing and/or development/production.
• Experience negotiating licensing terms with networks/platforms.
• Strong relationships with executives, producers and studios.
• Deep knowledge of animation production, rights, and windowing.
• Ability to track assets and manage production information.
• Proven ability to pitch and present projects to talent and teams.
• Experience overseeing multi‑market initiatives and collaborations.

Responsibilities

• Creates content strategy plans with operations and creative teams.
• Identifies domestic licensing opportunities and negotiates topline terms.
• Identifies first‑window international licensing opportunities for new series.
• Coordinates with distribution to amplify library deals and collaborations.
• Leads presentations on content in production/development.
• Liaises with WB Animation divisions to streamline information flow.
• Builds relationships with divisions like Cartoon Network, DC Comics, and others.
• Identifies properties to develop for animated formats for family audience.
