Job summary

LYDIAN ENERGY LLC is seeking a Vice President, Head of Construction to lead the safe, on‑time, and on‑budget delivery of our utility‑scale solar PV and battery energy storage projects. You will oversee 3–8 active projects across multiple geographies, managing embedded field teams and EPC contractor performance.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive project management and construction leadership in utility-scale power generation or renewable energy.
• 5+ years in senior construction leadership managing multi-project portfolios at 500 MW+ annual scale.
• Demonstrated track record delivering utility-scale solar PV projects from NTP through COD (100 MW+).
• Extensive experience administering EPC contracts during active construction, including change orders and performance enforcement.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end construction execution for 3–8 simultaneous utility-scale solar and BESS projects from mobilization through COD.
• Drive on-time, on-budget project delivery against schedule, budget, and quality standards.
• Lead embedded project management teams and field construction managers at each active site.
• Implement standardized project controls, reporting cadences, and escalation protocols across the portfolio.
• Maintain portfolio-level construction dashboard for real-time schedule, cost, safety, and quality visibility.
• Oversee EPC contractor performance and enforce contractual obligations; manage change orders and remediation plans.
• Lead safety, quality, and environmental compliance across all sites and ensure proper handoffs at COD.
