Job description

This role is responsible for the delivery of large-scale mission-critical construction programs across the U.S. This position oversees the full lifecycle of new facilities and expansions, ensuring safe, predictable execution and successful transition to operations.

Responsibilities

• Set and execute the construction strategy for a multi-site data center portfolio.
• Provide senior oversight across all active projects from early diligence through turnover.
• Lead and build a scalable construction organization, encompassing project delivery, site management, cost control, and safety.
• Establish standardized delivery playbooks, procedures, and execution frameworks.
• Oversee end-to-end delivery of new builds, expansions, and retrofits, including preconstruction, budgeting, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning.
• Drive disciplined execution against schedule, cost, quality, and safety objectives.
• Lead contractor sourcing and selection in partnership with procurement and legal.
• Ensure consistent safety, quality, and compliance performance across all sites.
• Partner with design and engineering teams to align standards, value engineering, and constructability.
• Coordinate closely with operations and technical deployment teams to enable smooth handoff and fit-out.
• Support long-term capacity planning through delivery feedback and lessons learned.
• Implement robust governance frameworks including risk management, change control, and post-project reviews.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
• Maintain executive-level reporting and visibility into portfolio performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience delivering large, complex construction programs, with a strong preference for mission-critical or data center experience.
• Bachelors Degree in Construction, Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or relevant fields of study.
• Demonstrated success leading MEP-intensive projects in high-availability environments.
• Strong commercial acumen across budgeting, forecasting, contracting, and change management.
• Working knowledge of U.S. codes, safety standards, permitting, and regulatory processes.
