Job summary

Centene Corporation in Austin, TX, seeks a senior leader to develop, implement, and oversee the pharmacy benefit management program across product lines and locations. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy required.
• PharmD preferred.
• 10+ years of clinical pharmacy care and experience required.
• Thorough knowledge of pharmaceutical care and PBM practices.
• Previous management experience including hiring, training, assigning work and managing performance of staff.
• Quality improvement experience preferred.
• Equivalents accepted based on accomplishments and scope.

Responsibilities

• Provides enterprise leadership for pharmacy clinical operations, including governance, formulary strategy, policy oversight, and drug pipeline management.
• Leads pharmacy trend management and manufacturer relationships to optimize clinical and financial outcomes.
• Partners cross-functionally to develop and execute enterprise pharmacy strategies.
• Oversees strategic planning for emerging therapies and formulary performance.
• Evaluate program performance and recommend changes to improve costs and quality.
• Develops and attains PMPM and AOP initiatives.
• Establishes vision, objectives and policies for the pharmacy program.
• Participates in accreditation initiatives and vendor management.
• Performs other duties as assigned and ensures compliance with policies.
