Job summary

Centene Corporation seeks a senior leader to develop, implement, and oversee the pharmacy benefit management program across multiple product lines and locations. You will drive governance, formulary strategy, and policy oversight to ensure quality, affordability, and regulatory compliance.

You will partner with Pharmacy, Product, Actuary, Medical Affairs and Compliance to optimize clinical and financial outcomes and manage relationships with key vendors and manufacturers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy required.
• PharmD preferred.
• 10+ years of clinical pharmacy care and experience required.
• Thorough knowledge of pharmaceutical care and PBM practices.
• Previous management experience including hiring, training and performance management.
• Quality Improvement experience preferred.
• Equivalent experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and oversee the PBM program across multiple product lines.
• Provide enterprise leadership for pharmacy clinical operations and governance.
• Lead formulary strategy, clinical policy oversight, and drug pipeline management.
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate rebates to optimize outcomes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance access and performance.
• Plan strategically for emerging therapies and formulary performance.
