Lindus Health Limited is seeking a VP of Clinical Operations to lead their US team, focusing on the delivery of innovative clinical trials. The successful candidate will have a robust background in clinical project management, demonstrate leadership in FDA regulations, and spearhead team development initiatives while engaging in a rapidly growing, mission-driven environment. This role includes a competitive salary and extensive benefits aimed at fostering employee growth and well-being.
Our mission
All new medicines need to undergo clinical trials to show they’re safe and effective. But today’s clinical trial infrastructure is stuck in the past, and the cost of developing new medicines has skyrocketed as a result. Patients have to wait longer and pay more for new treatments.
Our mission is to fix this; we use software to help innovative companies run faster, more reliable, and patient-friendly clinical trials. We’re still a young company, but we’ve already had a big impact. Since founding the company in March 2021 we’ve helped run over 100 clinical trials involving tens of thousands of patients, with a customer NPS of 100.
We recently raised a $55m Series B round from Balderton Capital, with support from Creandum, Firstminute, Seedcamp, and Visionaries.
About the role
We’re looking for an exceptional VP Clinical Operations to lead our US Clinical Operations team. You will be the most senior member of our US ClinOps team and responsible for our portfolio of trials as well as scaling our US operations.
We’re growing rapidly and delivering a wide range of different trials. The ideal candidate will have a broad range of experience across a variety of therapeutic areas and phases- this would include work on technology-enabled trials. A proportionate approach to trial design and experience growing and leading a large team is essential.
You’ll work closely with our Global VP of Clinical Operations (Emma Ogburn), and the other Clinical Operations leadership team in the US and UK. You will also work cross-functionally with our Product, People and Commercial teams.
The role will be based in the US (preferably East Coast or East Coast working hours), with travel to the UK required 2-3 times a year.
About you
We’d like to hear from you if…
You have 12+ years of experience working in clinical trials and being responsible for implementing projects (as opposed to just project managing)
You have experience beyond working solely in a large CRO
You have worked on a wide variety of different trials during your career to date
You have deep understanding of FDA/GCP trial requirements and keep up to date with changing regulations
Experience of implementing trials outside of the US would be desirable
You have grown high-performing teams before, with responsibility for processes, hiring and training
You have worked with innovative trial technology and are excited about the prospect of directly innovating in the space
You have high agency and a bias for action
You are passionate and curious about our mission; changing how the healthcare industry operates and how new health treatments are developed
You want to learn what life is like at a high-growth, mission-driven VC funded startup
You belong here! If your experience and interests match with some of the above, we want you to apply.
