Partnering with providers and health plans, including CMS' new GUIDE dementia care model, Synapticure is dedicated to transforming the lives of millions of individuals and their families living with neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, and ALS.

The Role
Synapticure is seeking a physician executive to serve as Vice President of Clinical Operations, a vital leadership role focused on optimizing performance across our specialty clinical departments. Reporting to the Head of Operations, this individual will oversee teams in Movement Disorders, Cognitive Neurology, and other key neurological specialties. You will drive clinical excellence, provider productivity, operational efficiency, and accountability across our telehealth platform.

As VP of Clinical Operations, you will lead a high-performing group of physicians and clinical teams to deliver exceptional care across multiple specialties while aligning workflows, quality standards, and performance targets. You’ll bring strong experience in both in-person and virtual care settings, with a deep understanding of revenue cycle, documentation accuracy, and multi-specialty service delivery. This role is an exceptional opportunity to help scale a mission-driven, technology-enabled clinical model transforming neurodegenerative care.

Job Duties – What You’ll Be Doing

  • Provide operational oversight and leadership to specialty departments including Movement Disorders and Cognitive Neurology
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performance clinical culture focused on patient-centered care and accountability
  • Mentor and support clinical leaders to ensure they are resourced and aligned with company goals
  • Monitor clinical KPIs and quality metrics across all services and lead data-driven performance improvement initiatives
  • Drive standardization of evidence-based care models and clinical best practices
  • Implement operational strategies to increase provider productivity and eliminate workflow inefficiencies
  • Oversee provider scheduling, on-call coverage, and patient access strategies to optimize service delivery
  • Establish productivity expectations and align visit volume, administrative time, and time-off standards in a fee-for-service environment
  • Ensure compliance with coding and documentation standards (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS)
  • Collaborate with Revenue Cycle Management to improve charge capture and reduce denials
  • Implement provider training and audits to ensure coding accuracy and compliance
  • Define clinical OKRs in collaboration with department leaders and align initiatives with organizational strategy
  • Develop reporting structures to communicate progress and outcomes to executive leadership
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Technology, Marketing, Finance, and Operations teams to integrate clinical services
  • Drive innovation in telehealth delivery and scale new care pathways to improve outcomes
  • Ensure full compliance with HIPAA, licensing, and credentialing requirements
  • Lead clinical risk management by identifying risks and implementing proactive solutions

Requirements – What We Look For In You

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) with board certification in Neurology
  • Current, active, and unrestricted medical license
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive clinical operations leadership, including 5+ years managing multi-specialty teams
  • Prior experience in a telehealth or virtual care delivery environment preferred
  • Proven success leading clinical performance and quality improvement initiatives
  • Strong understanding of revenue cycle, compliance, and provider documentation
  • Familiarity with EHR systems, digital health platforms, and healthcare analytics
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate clinical professionals and cross-functional teams
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Experience managing organizational change and driving scalable clinical operations
  • Strong financial acumen and understanding of healthcare economics
