Job summary

Cornerstone Search Group is seeking a VP of Clinical Operations in Boston for a rapidly growing biotech with a differentiated pipeline of first‑in‑class therapies. The role reports to the Chief Medical Officer and will build the Infrastructure, operating model, and team to support a maturing portfolio.

The candidate will lead strategy and hands‑on execution, manage CROs, budgets, and vendors, and shape a culture of quality and speed during a period of rapid growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced life sciences degree preferred.
• 15+ years in clinical operations within pharma/biotech.
• Proven track record building and leading Clinical Operations teams.
• Experience with multi‑phase global trials and regulatory input.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for Clinical Operations.
• Build, scale, and manage a high‑performing Clinical Operations team.
• Oversee vendor relationships, budgets, and regulatory submissions.
• Set strategy aligned with portfolio priorities and development timelines.
• Drive KPIs, dashboards, and reporting for senior leadership.
