I'm working with a clinical-stage biotech company that’s redefining how we approach neurological diseases through innovative, mechanism-based therapeutics. With multiple programs in development and significant investor backing, they’re looking to bring on a Vice President of Clinical Development to lead strategy and execution across their neurology pipeline.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a board-certified neurologist or clinical development leader with deep neurology experience to shape clinical direction at a pivotal stage of growth.

What You’ll Do:

• Serve as the clinical lead for one or more neurology programs, from early clinical development through pivotal trials
• Provide medical oversight and strategic input into protocol design, trial execution, and regulatory strategy
• Act as a key internal and external clinical expert—representing the company with investigators, regulators, and partners
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Regulatory, Translational, and CMC teams to drive data-driven development
• Build and lead a high-performing clinical development team

What They’re Looking For:

• MD (required); board certification in Neurology (highly preferred)
• 10+ years of clinical development experience in the biotech/pharma industry, with significant focus in neurology
• Proven track record of leading programs through Phase I–III (or portions thereof)
• Experience interacting with regulatory agencies (FDA/EMA) and designing innovative clinical trial strategies
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, science-focused, collaborative environment
• Bay Area-based or open to remote with regular travel to HQ
