We are seeking a dynamic and experienced VP of Clinical Development to lead our client's cardiology clinical programs. This executive role will oversee the full clinical development lifecycle—from early-phase studies through pivotal trials—ensuring alignment with regulatory standards and business goals. The successful candidate will be a strategic leader with a proven track record in cardiovascular clinical development and a passion for advancing new therapies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all aspects of cardiology clinical development programs, including study design, execution, and data interpretation.
• Develop clinical strategies that support product development, regulatory submissions, and commercialization.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as Regulatory Affairs, Medical Affairs, R&D, and Commercial to drive program success.
• Oversee relationships with external partners including clinical investigators, CROs, and regulatory bodies.
• Ensure compliance with GCP and all applicable regulatory guidelines.
• Manage budgets, timelines, and resource allocation to meet clinical program objectives.
• Build and mentor a high-performing clinical development team.

Qualifications:

• MD or equivalent with significant clinical development experience in cardiology.
• Minimum of 10 years in clinical development, including leadership roles in biotech or pharmaceutical settings.
• Demonstrated success managing complex clinical programs and navigating regulatory pathways (FDA, EMA).
• Strong knowledge of GCP, clinical trial regulations, and industry best practices.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
