This is a high-impact, senior leadership role reporting to the C-Suite with the opportunity to shape both the clinical and technical direction of the company's core product.
What You'll Do
In this role, you will define and own the clinical AI roadmap, translating clinical needs into model design and product requirements. You'll lead a team of data scientists, ML engineers, and/or clinical informaticists, and partner closely with product, engineering, and regulatory teams to ensure models are safe, effective, and clinically validated. You'll also represent the company externally with health system partners, payers, and regulatory bodies, and stay ahead of the evolving regulatory landscape for AI-enabled clinical tools (FDA, CMS, etc.).
What We're Looking For
We're looking for a leader with a clinical background (MD, DO, NP, or similar) combined with deep experience in AI/ML applied to healthcare, someone who can speak fluently to both clinicians and data scientists. Candidates should bring a track record of building or scaling clinical AI products in a digital health, health tech, or health system setting, along with experience navigating clinical validation and regulatory pathways for AI/ML-based tools. Prior people leadership experience is required; startup or high-growth company experience is a strong plus.
