Job summary

Blue Meridian Partners seeks a Director, Development and Investor Relations to shape fundraising strategy and engage current and prospective Partners and other investors. You will lead day-to-day implementation with the Chief Development Officer and senior leaders.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree with at least 10 years of hands-on fundraising experience.
• Experience building networks of high net worth individuals and/or Foundations.
• Exceptional written communications: drafts of presentations, letters and memoranda; concise emails and reports.
• Outstanding organizational and project management skills with high attention to detail.
• Energetic, self-motivated and entrepreneurial; respects contributions of others.
• Strong interpersonal skills with professional demeanor and ability to lead diverse teams.
• Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint; CRM experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support the ongoing development of the fundraising strategy with the CEO, CDO and other senior leaders.
• Coordinate fundraising activities across multiple funds / portfolios.
• Undertake market analysis to identify prospective investors and develop introduction opportunities.
• Organize and run fundraising team meetings and ensure timely follow-up on actions.
• With Finance, help structure deals and agreements and track commitments.
• Ensure communications materials are developed / revised for prospect meetings and brief senior leaders prior to meetings.
