Job summary

Howden is seeking a Vice President, Business Development to lead the Midwest market efforts, primarily based in Chicago with hybrid work. You will originate relationships, shape a disciplined BD strategy, and partner with brokers to grow revenue across the Howden Private Capital practice.

The role requires 4+ years in BD or related fields, strong networking and communication skills, and willingness to travel. A big focus is expanding brand presence with private equity and advisory clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 4+ years in business development, sales, or related fields.
• Strong networking and communication skills.
• Proven ability to build executive-level relationships.
• Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
• Willingness to travel across the Midwest and nationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead Midwest market development and originate relationships.
